Monthly Lunch Reports

PROBUS is a Retired Professional and Business Men's Club where men who have had a measure of responsibility in such fields as commerce, education, industry and government get together in their retirement in a social environment. Probus clubs are autonomous and their activities vary considerably.
The Probus Club of St. Austell is one of the oldest having celebrated its fortieth anniversary in 2010. It has some eighty members most of whom are active and meets on the first Wednesday in each month at the Cliff Head Hotel at Carlyon Bay for a lunch followed by a short presentation by a guest speaker. Occasional additional events are organised including ladies' luncheons and trips out.
Members' costs of belonging are kept to a minimum although the Club does make a contribution to guest speakers' nominated charities.

Membership is by invitation but anyone who meets the criteria is very welcome to contact us and we will arrange for a member of the Committee to meet up with him.
