Paul is originally from Birmingham where from 1985 to 1988 he studied Illustration at the Bournville College of Art.
After moving to Cornwall in 1989, he became a full-time picture framer whilst painting in his spare time.
Working in acrylics and, more recently returning to oils, his paintings reflect his interest in the vibrant colours of the constantly inspiring Cornish landscape and are largely based around the lively fishing harbours, stone cottages and rugged coastline.
